Is it really free?

Yes. SnapShotPro is open source and runs in your browser. There is no paid tier and nothing to unlock.

Do I need an account?

No. Your work stays in your browser. Sign-in is optional and only enables cloud sync and sharing across devices.

What needs a connection?

Generative AI edits and share links. You can point those at the hosted backend or your own API key, and skip them entirely if you prefer to stay local.

Where does my data go?
